Wendy Simpson is a writer from Oakville, Ontario. Recently retired from a career in real estate, she now divides her time between Toronto, Victoria and Grand Cayman Island to spend time with her three grown children and spoil her ten young grandchildren. Originally from Kitchener, Wendy moved to Toronto to study English Literature. She holds a BA and an MA from York University. Although her university days are long behind her she’s never lost her love of reading and prefers literary fiction and the occasional mystery. She is a long-time book club member and enjoys crosswords and Wordle, trivia nights with her friends and family time at the beach, the cottage or a Blue Jays game. For many years, she has attended writing classes and workshops with Brian Henry and has had short stories published in Quick Brown Fox. This is her first novel and she is currently writing the second under the warm Caribbean sun.
